CanoSOARus RECORD FLIGHT BOOK
MAXIMUM NEGATIVE ALTITUDE record,
continued:

We have excerpted some of Professor "Digital Joe" Valencic's more interesting adventures here for you to enjoy.

Joe - the record holder!

Joe on deck as he travels to Fanning Island, a tiny atoll in the Line Islands, south of Hawaii.

Darn! I should have brought a CanoSOARus!

Bill Nye never gets to have this much fun!
In 1996, Joe did some teaching via Satellite all the way from the Antarctic! Here he is greeting the students. Note icebergs floating in the water. (Joe should have had a CanoSOARus with him then - he could have set our official distance record!) An octopus (!) rests on Valencic's video camera
while he dives in Molikini Crater off Maui, Hawaii.

Is this serious research or what?

Bread?? Can't a guy get any Pepperoni Pizza from you cheap tourists?
On the same trip, Joe donned a Tuxedo and Top Hat and waddled around like a Penguin to see how the penguins would react to a human intruder that more closely resembled their own kind. (Is this serious research or what!!) Note the cute little guy in the lower left of the picture! Joe feeds bread to a giant tortoise on Aldabra Island
in the Indian Ocean.
(The bread was provided by the island's chief naturalist.)
